"Sowing the Seeds of Friendship" is the theme for the 2008 Shabbona Hometown Festival. This year we took our t-shirt and theme contest to the Indian Creek High School students. Savannah Stanley submitted our winning entry. Congratulations Savannah!
If you've never been in our parade, please consider joining us this year. We really appreciate the groups that have participated in the past and look forward to seeing what they come up with this year. The entry form is attached; please sign up your group and start planning something fun!
Also included is an entry form for vendor and crafter booths. This is a great way to advertise your business and help contribute something to our community. It also gives the adults something to do while the kids are having non-stop fun with all the games and activities provided. Not saying the adults aren't welcome
to jump into the fun!

Draw Down Raffle
The Shabbona Hometown Events Committee will be holding a 4th of July Raffle to help fund this year’s activities and parade. The drawing will take place on Saturday, July 5th, 2008 at 3:00pm during the Shabbona Hometown Festival. [more information]
